Our Guide Dog Puppies

Guide Dogs for the Blind have sent us photographs of the three Guide Dog puppies we are sponsoring over the next two years. They thanked us very much for sponsoring them with the money we raised from our Christmas Productions. Each of our Houses will follow one of the Guide Dog puppies in their progress to become fully trained Guide Dogs.

Picture 2 The children in Dickens House are following Irvine
Picture 3 The children in Bleak House are following Hattie

We will be receiving regular “pupdates” about the three puppies where the children will find out about their special Guide Dog training. Unfortunately the Puppies will not be able to visit our school as they need such specialised training but we will receive photographs and newsletters about them.

Children In Need

Friday 13 November

Children were invited to come to school wearing something 'Spotty'. We saw some amazing creations and once again the children raised the fantastic sum of £590.38.

Again very many thanks for all your support.

Our Harvest Charity this year was Porch Light. This is a Charity which helps to support the Homeless. The children were given little boxes which made up into houses. They decorated them and filled them with pennies. The houses were then displayed as villages.

We raised an amazing sum of £747.46 so many thanks for all your support.

In conjunction with Holy Trinity Church and the Rotary Club we raise money for the Eradicate Polio Campain by planting crocuses in the school grounds.
