Music Opportunities at Our School

We’re proud to offer a variety of engaging music programs for our students. Discover the exciting options below:

🎶 Ukulele Lessons

Led by our experienced Ukulele teacher, Tom Bridgeland, these lessons are a fantastic way for students to develop their musical skills.

• Year 1: Monday afternoons
• Year 2: Wednesday afternoons

 Cost: £10 per term (£60 per year)

Sign-Up Information:
At the end of each school year, parents will receive an email with details on how to:

• Sign up new Year 1 students
• Continue lessons for Year 2 students

Special Performance Opportunity:
Year 2 Ukulele students are invited to perform at our Summer Fayre as a final showcase of their talent.

🎸 Rocksteady Music School

The Rocksteady Music School offers pupils a chance to be part of a rock or pop band, learning instruments such as:

• Guitar
• Keyboard
• Drums
• Vocals

Parent Involvement:
Parents of band members will be invited to attend school rock concerts throughout the year to see their children perform live.

🎤 Choir

Our school choir, directed by Mrs. Jenny Smith, is open to Year 1 and 2 students who love to sing and perform.

• When: Mondays, 3:10 PM – 4:10 PM
• Term 4: Monday 24th February - Monday 31st March 

Performance Highlights:

• Broadstairs Christmas Lights Switch-On
• School Christmas and Summer Fairs
• Collaborative performances with Wellesley House and Bromstone Schools as part of a joint choir

Sign-Up Information:

At the end of each school year, parents will receive an email with details on how to:

• Audition as a new Year 1 choir member
• Continue participation as a Year 2 choir member
